As of now, management boards and program leaders of established Eastern Europe initiatives may nominate suitable multipliers who are networked in Russia, the Ukraine and Belarus for our first Eastern Europe-Alumni-MEETUP.
Date: 2nd till 4th of December 2018
Topic: Global, Functional, Digital – Challenges for Society 5.0
Location: Berlin
What concerns us in a more and more linked and networked civil society? Despite the fact that civilians are assumed to move closer together due to globalization and digitalization, opinions and values diverge in a common transnational space. But does digitalization split the society and make citizens become a clicking mass? Or do its consequences imply great opportunities for our civil society? The Eastern Europe-Alumni-MEETUP will focus on these topics in order to enable long-term cross-border and cross-branch networking. We thereby want to contribute to the understanding in Europe and especially in Eastern Europe.
Therefore, we want to invite our guests to a fireside talk, followed by a design thinking workshop and conversations in small groups about topics like Eastern Europe and the EU, economy, human rights and diversity. A warm-up with hashtags and after-session networking complete the program. Our goal is to introduce the participants to topics outside their subject and experience area. Please find the detailed agenda in the draft program.
This project is realized with friendly support by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
